Anfilogino Benarrivo's late challenge caught a I Vendicatori F. C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Armin Fioriti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Davide Rainaldi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Vasia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Concetto Selvaggi came free, but Amedeo Florio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the I Vendicatori F. C. defense, Christian Santoro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Davide Rainaldi. The I Vendicatori F. C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Davide Rainaldi should have stopped the shot. In the 26th match minute, Vasia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enzo Fantauzzi to maneuver through the defense. I Vendicatori F. C.'s Andrea Di Placido couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 27th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Vasia FC. Davide Rainaldi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Armin Fioriti went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 40th minute Andrea Bianco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Davide Rainaldi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Alberigo Giannotti made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Concetto Selvaggi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amedeo Florio. Vasia FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Concetto Selvaggi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. When Augusto Manzi was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 61 minutes had been played. The supporters of Vasia FC booed when I Vendicatori F. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Manzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amedeo Florio made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Concetto Selvaggi sent off a good shot on target. Davide Rainaldi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armin Fioriti in the 68th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Christian Santoro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 80th minute, Concetto Selvaggi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The I Vendicatori F. C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Concetto Selvaggi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Armin Fioriti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Davide Rainaldi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
