The supporters of Nova Milanese booed when Ignoranza 69 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Federico Trombatore didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alex Benarrivo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuele Sforza in the 4th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosimo Perilli in the 6th minute of play forced Ignoranza 69's goalkeeper Alex Benarrivo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ernesto Minati received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Alex Benarrivo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ignoranza 69's Dave Mastronardi got a free kick in the 11th minute. Comunardo Bottone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Comunardo Salvucci having to interfere. Aldo Bocchi charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aldo Bocchi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 15th match minute, Nova Milanese was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aldo Bocchi to maneuver through the defense. 20 minutes into the match, Nova Milanese's goalkeeper Comunardo Salvucci had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Comunardo Bottone. Nova Milanese's Comunardo Salvucci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Bulla in the 21st minute of play. After 22 played minutes Nova Milanese got a freekick which was hit by Alessandro Chiavetta. In the 23rd minute, Armando Bulla fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Comunardo Salvucci, passed just outside the right post. In the 24th match minute, Nova Milanese was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dino Gismondi to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute Armando Bulla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Comunardo Salvucci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ignoranza 69's goalkeeper Alex Benarrivo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alex Benarrivo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cosimo Perilli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alex Benarrivo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosimo Perilli, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Armando Bulla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Comunardo Salvucci having to interfere. If Ernesto Minati had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alex Benarrivo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ernesto Minati's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ignoranza 69's goalkeeper Alex Benarrivo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Comunardo Bottone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th minute, Federico Trombatore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cosimo Perilli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Benarrivo having to interfere. If Cosimo Perilli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alex Benarrivo was out of position in the 88 minute of play, and Ernesto Minati capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ernesto Minati really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Nova Milanese had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
