Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) San Pellegrino's Edoardo Cicchini started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute of the match, Daniele Marinetti tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Daniele Toschi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 6 minutes into the game, one of Niguarda:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Dario Matteucci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edoardo Cicchini, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Daniele Marinetti received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Daniele Toschi came out and tried to block the shot, but Daniele Marinetti slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 13th minute. Edoardo Cicchini blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dario Matteucci having to make a save. Edoardo Cicchini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Dario Matteucci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anselmo De Lucia took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dario Matteucci. Dario Matteucci dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Dario Matteucci didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edoardo Cicchini went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Niguarda's zone, Edoardo Cicchini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dario Matteucci came out of the goal and Edoardo Cicchini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 31 minutes into the match, Carlo Minichiello notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Niguarda's Dario Matteucci. Dario Matteucci was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 42 minutes into the match, Niguarda's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo De Lucia came free, but Dario Matteucci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniele Marinetti in the 43rd minute of play forced San Pellegrino's goalkeeper Daniele Toschi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th play minute Corrado Giancola came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Daniele Toschi. 2-3. The Niguarda players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. San Pellegrino were winning 2-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniele Marinetti made a kick off. Edoardo Cicchini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Matteucci having to interfere. 55 minutes into the match, Edoardo Cicchini dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dario Matteucci, 2-4. Emiliano Di Cintio hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute Edoardo Cicchini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Matteucci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the game, Anselmo De Lucia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-5. Dario Matteucci was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Daniele Toschi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniele Marinetti, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 66th match minute, San Pellegrino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlo Minichiello to maneuver through the defense. Anselmo De Lucias short, quick shot in the 69thth minute got Dario Matteucci to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 70 played minutes Niguarda got a freekick which was hit by Emiliano Di Cintio. Ercole Simeoni struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Daniele Toschi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Niguarda. Daniele Marinetti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Daniele Toschi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Niguarda's Ercole Simeoni got a free kick in the 89th minute. After having played for 90 minutes, Edoardo Cicchini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Pellegrino's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edoardo Cicchini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ennio De Rubeis's late challenge caught a San Pellegrino's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ennio De Rubeis helped the player get up and apologised. After 91 played minutes Niguarda got a freekick which was hit by Ennio De Rubeis. After taking down the ball on San Pellegrino's corner Angelo Limitone fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dario Matteucci quite easily take care of the ball.
