Demetrio Tamburrini kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 6th minute, Cesare Lenzi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ennio Imperiale was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Cesare Lenzi scored 0-2 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ennio Imperiale, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 22 minutes into the match, AC MarcoSoccerClub's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Boldrini came free, but Ennio Imperiale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 23 played minutes AC MarcoSoccerClub got a freekick which was hit by Dino Ricci. Enrico Dionisi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ennio Imperiale. AC MarcoSoccerClub's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ennio Imperiale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesare Lenzi in the 28th minute of the match. Ennio Imperiale didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cesare Lenzi went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. A collision led to Ferrara AFC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Bruno Bussi hit a great ball. In the 38th minute Cesare Lenzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ennio Imperiale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ennio Imperiale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cosimo Miranda in the 41st minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, AC MarcoSoccerClub's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Boldrini came free, but Ennio Imperiale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfonso Morandin during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Ferrara AFC booed when AC MarcoSoccerClub was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfonso Morandin didn't get a good kick on the ball. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ennio Imperiale showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cesare Lenzi made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Arturo Mazzola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ennio Imperiale made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emanuele Ferraris in the 55th minute. Francesco Caroli blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edmondo Aureli having to make a save. A collision led to Ferrara AFC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Bruno Bussi hit a great ball. 60 minutes into the match, Anthony Di Silvio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edmondo Aureli. Ferrara AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anthony Di Silvio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Francesco Caroli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cesare Lenzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 72 minutes into the match, Ferrara AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Anthony Di Silvio came free, but Edmondo Aureli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Ferrara AFC's Emanuele Ferraris slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ennio Imperiale. That made the score 2-5 after 78 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesare Lenzi in the 81st minute of play forced AC MarcoSoccerClub's goalkeeper Ennio Imperiale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmondo Aureli came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by AC MarcoSoccerClub's Dino Ricci. But to his dismay, Dino Ricci quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-5. AC MarcoSoccerClub made a substitution. Armando Molinario replaced Francesco Caroli. Anthony Di Silvio might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edmondo Aureli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anthony Di Silvio ran back to his position shaking his head. The AC MarcoSoccerClub supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ferrara AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Ferrara AFC.
