Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Soul Eater FC's Ettore Petrella started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Carlo Nardi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bruno Causio was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. Bruno Causio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlo Nardi went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 13th match minute, Soul Eater FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabrizio Domenici to maneuver through the defense. Carlo Nardi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabrizio Domenici kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claudio Sorge during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 22 played minutes Marcellise FC got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Sorge. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Marcellise FC's goalkeeper Ercole Rossi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Ettore Petrella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 33 played minutes Soul Eater FC got a freekick which was hit by Fabrizio Domenici. After having played for 38 minutes, Donato Proia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marcellise FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donato Proia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Soul Eater FC's Bruno Causio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlo Nardi in the 40th minute of play. In the 42nd of the match, Ettore Petrella tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Ercole Rossi got in the way and made a wonderful save. A collision led to Marcellise FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Augusto De Michele hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Marcellise FC's Cristoforo Proietti got a free kick in the 47th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Donato Proia to strike the kick off in the second half. Eugenio Sciarra charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eugenio Sciarra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 56 played minutes Soul Eater FC got a freekick which was hit by Eugenio Sciarra. Donato Proia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bruno Causio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Bruno Causio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donato Proia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fortunato Melfi might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ercole Rossi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fortunato Melfi ran back to his position shaking his head. Carlo Nardi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Bruno Causio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Donato Proia came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Marcellise FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donato Proia couldn't finish the play. Marcellise FC's Donato Proia got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bruno Causio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Proia, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. If Carlo Nardi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bruno Causio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Proia in the 87th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Soul Eater FC's Carmine Marchegiani got a free kick in the 91st minute. If Fortunato Melfi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Marcellise FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Soul Eater FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
