Fortunato Melfi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dino Petrosino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. In the 55thth minute of the game Adriano Laudadio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Soul Eater FC's Bruno Causio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Malalbergo were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after Soul Eater FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alberigo Violento took the corner. Alberigo Violento made a great header on Malalbergo's corner, it was just that Soul Eater FC's Bruno Causio managed to reach the ball for a save. Dario Rigoni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Bruno Causio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Soul Eater FC's Ettore Petrella ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dino Petrosino. Dino Petrosino yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Fortunato Melfi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Ettore Petrella might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dino Petrosino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ettore Petrella ran back to his position shaking his head. For all the effort they put into the match, the Soul Eater FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Malalbergo.
