Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Alessandro Genta hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. 12 minutes into the game, Alfredo Santini cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Concetto Toppi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bianco Pugliese could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Amerigo Giampieri made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Gratosoglio AFC's zone, Ciro Finocchio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amerigo Giampieri came out of the goal and Ciro Finocchio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 43rdth minute of the game Ciro Finocchio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gratosoglio AFC's Amerigo Giampieri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Amerigo Giampieri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Finocchio in the 45th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfredo Santini stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Concetto Toppi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ennio Ruscitti in the 53rd minute. Alfredo Santini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In a very dangerous position, a player in Altichiero fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 55th minute. Penalty! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ciro Finocchio in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amerigo Giampieri saved Gratosoglio AFC from getting behind. When Alfredo Santini came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Gratosoglio AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredo Santini couldn't finish the play. After 66 played minutes Altichiero got a freekick which was hit by Ferruccio Clementi. In the 67th minute, Damiano Giansante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ciro Finocchio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 78 minutes of play, Altichiero's Bianco Pugliese made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amerigo Giampieri was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 81st minute Alessandro Genta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Concetto Toppi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th minute, Cesare Ferrario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Altichiero booed when Gratosoglio AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ercole Montaldi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ciro Finocchio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Amerigo Giampieri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
