After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Damiano Di Cintio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sambruson's supporters rose to their feet, but Damiano Di Cintio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ercole Goffredo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ferruccio Coccolone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Sambruson's zone, Biagio Ottaviani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anselmo Belardi came out of the goal and Biagio Ottaviani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ferruccio Coccolone was extremely unlucky when he, in the 24th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Ciro Bocchi charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ciro Bocchi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Sambruson's Ciro Bocchi got a free kick in the 26th minute. Ferruccio Coccolone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ferruccio Coccolone's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anselmo Belardi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Sambruson's goalkeeper Anselmo Belardi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Biagio Pasquino. In the 34th minute Ferruccio Coccolone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anselmo Belardi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ferruccio Proietto struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Ercole Goffredo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sambruson. In the 46th minute, Ferruccio Fracassi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anselmo Belardi was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Damiano Di Cintio to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Sambruson got a freekick which was hit by Cristiano Martini. Ferruccio Coccolone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sambruson's Anselmo Belardi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Biagio Ottaviani in the 59th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Borgo Piave AFC's goalkeeper Ercole Goffredo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ercole Pedroni. Ercole Goffredo made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Ercole Pedroni sent off a good shot on target. Biagio Pasquino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Anselmo Belardi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ercole Goffredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferruccio Proietto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 97 minutes in the game, Ferruccio Proietto fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ercole Goffredo having to interfere. Borgo Piave AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Sambruson for a fine match.
