After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Attilio Antenucci managed to get in a good position for a shot. Parmenide's supporters rose to their feet, but Attilio Antenucci was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Demetrio Mazza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 27th match minute, Garbagna Novarese AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arrigo Chitarroni to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute, Alessandro Canuto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fabrizio Bottega charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabrizio Bottega the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fabrizio Bottega hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. When Arrigo Chitarroni came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Garbagna Novarese AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arrigo Chitarroni couldn't finish the play. Fabrizio Bottega sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Parmenide's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alessandro Canuto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Alessio Genovesi fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Garbagna Novarese AFC's protests and gave Alessio Genovesi a yellow card for diving instead. After 39 played minutes Garbagna Novarese AFC got a freekick which was hit by Alessio Genovesi. When Fabrizio Bottega came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Parmenide fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabrizio Bottega couldn't finish the play. Demetrio Mazza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Attilio Antenucci's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Demetrio Mazza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alessandro Canuto, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Attilio Antenucci in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Demetrio Mazza prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

After 55 minutes of play Parmenide's Fabrizio Bottega was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 55th match minute, Parmenide was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabrizio Bottega to maneuver through the defense. Fabrizio Nicolo struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Aldo Fioravanti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Garbagna Novarese AFC. Cosimo Tedeschi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Demetrio Mazza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Attilio Antenucci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute Franco Citrullo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demetrio Mazza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Demetrio Mazza didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 87th minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. Aldo Fioravanti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arrigo Chitarroni in the 92nd minute of play. Cosimo Tedeschi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Demetrio Mazza having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Garbagna Novarese AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Attilio Antenucci came free, but Demetrio Mazza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Parmenide played a much better game than Garbagna Novarese AFC and deserved their victory. The Garbagna Novarese AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
