Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Emilio Rossi made the kick off which started today's match. Beppe Ragusa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alessandro Di Fiore went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Biagio Tardelli hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Ernesto Cerasolis short, quick shot in the 13thth minute got Beppe Ragusa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Paltratico's Augusto Guarrera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edoardo Casadei in the 22nd minute of play. Beppe Ragusa was a little too slow when Alessandro Di Fiore got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 2-1. Adriano Micucci's shot from long distance in the 29th minute was not bad at all, but Ciccioteam's Beppe Ragusa knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. 31 minutes into the game, Paltratico's Ernesto Cerasoli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Beppe Ragusa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Emilio Rossi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Guarrera having to interfere. When Alessandro Di Fiore came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Paltratico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alessandro Di Fiore couldn't finish the play. Edoardo Casadei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Guarrera having to interfere. Beppe Ragusa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessandro Di Fiore in the 48th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alessandro Di Fiore made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Ciccioteam's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Cerasoli came free, but Beppe Ragusa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ciccioteam's Fortunato Casale got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 57th minute, Alessandro Salvucci sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ciccioteam's Beppe Ragusa didn't even have to move. Augusto Guarrera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edoardo Casadei went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. The supporters of Ciccioteam booed when Paltratico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Biagio Tardelli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ernesto Cerasoli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Beppe Ragusa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Alessandro Di Fiore's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Beppe Ragusa was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. In the 91st match minute, Paltratico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florian Martorella to maneuver through the defense. After 92 played minutes Ciccioteam got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Rossi. Ernesto Cerasoli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Beppe Ragusa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Paltratico had won after a very even match.
