Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Lallio FC's Dave Bellone started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Enzo Olivieri blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Angelo Iacovone having to make a save. Lallio FC's Enzo Olivieri got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alberto Torelli during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 9 played minutes Borgomagno AFC got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Torelli. Angelo Iacovone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enzo Olivieri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alvaro Formaggio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dino De Donatis in the 22nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Lallio FC's Eugenio Di Salvatore got a free kick in the 25th minute. If Federico Bottone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enzo Olivieri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Angelo Iacovone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lallio FC's Alvaro Formaggio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dino De Donatis in the 40th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Armin Pierdomenico during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Armin Pierdomenico hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Dino De Donatis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Borgomagno AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dino De Donatis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alvaro Formaggio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dino De Donatis to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Lallio FC defense, Federico Bottone kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alvaro Formaggio. The Lallio FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alvaro Formaggio should have stopped the shot. 56 minutes into the match, Lallio FC's goal looked a bit too open when Federico Bottone came free, but Alvaro Formaggio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Anselmo Melito fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Borgomagno AFC's protests and gave Anselmo Melito a yellow card for diving instead. In the 58th minute, Anselmo Melito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Lallio FC's Diego Valente tried to score from far away in the 59th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Federico Bottone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Formaggio having to interfere. The supporters of Lallio FC booed when Borgomagno AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francesco Demaria didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dave Bellone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Dave Bellone's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Angelo Iacovone was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. In the 76thth minute of the game Dave Bellone who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Borgomagno AFC's Angelo Iacovone was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lallio FC's Alvaro Formaggio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Bottone in the 78th minute of play. Federico Bottone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With an all-out effort, Lallio FC's Angelo Iacovone threw himself towards the right post 82 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dave Bellone, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpected shot in the 86th minute by Dave Bellone got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Federico Bottone in the 96th minute of play forced Lallio FC's goalkeeper Alvaro Formaggio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
