In the 7th minute Flavio Forlano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Gazza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th minute of the game Amedeo Piacentini made a throw-in which Concetto Cicchini played forward. 57 minutes in the game, Cesare Maia fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Florian Melfi having to interfere.
