With a little luck, SCHIO's Augusto Frezza got control of the ball when Claudio Pedrelli tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Alvaro Basilico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Vicolungo FC's Daniele Iob got a free kick in the 9th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alvaro Basilico during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alvaro Basilico kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Claudio Baur came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by SCHIO's Aldo Ottavi. But to his dismay, Aldo Ottavi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Alvaro Basilico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Frezza having to interfere. SCHIO's Andrea Proia got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to SCHIO getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Ettore Scudieri hit a great ball. In the 34th minute Andrea Proia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudio Baur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aldo Ottavi took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Claudio Baur. Claudio Baur dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Augusto Frezza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Basilico in the 46th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alvaro Basilico to strike the kick off in the second half. Andrea Proia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Claudio Baur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claudio Baur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrea Proia, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After a rather tough play, SCHIO's Ettore Scudieri got a free kick in the 65th minute. Andrea Proia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Claudio Baur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aldo Ottavi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudio Baur having to interfere. Andrea Proia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claudio Baur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrea Proia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Alvaro Basilico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SCHIO's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
