Ennio Fortuna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alvaro Basilico struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Fulvio Sabatini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vicolungo FC. The audience was convinced that Ennio Fortuna's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Claudio Baur was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Claudio Baur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ennio Fortuna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Claudio Pedrelli's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fulvio Sabatini firmly grabbed it by the left post. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alvaro Basilico stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Vicolungo FC booed when Soliera FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelio Gagliano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 52nd minute of the match Anselmo Giocondo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fulvio Sabatini skillfully saved the ball. Corrado Schiavoni's late challenge caught a Soliera FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Corrado Schiavoni helped the player get up and apologised. In the 70th match minute, Vicolungo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Corrado Schiavoni to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute, Ennio Fortuna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alvaro Basilico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Basilico in the 77th minute of play forced Soliera FC's goalkeeper Fulvio Sabatini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute, Claudio Pedrelli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fulvio Sabatini was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Vicolungo FC's Alvaro Basilico got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Vicolungo FC's Daniele Iob got a free kick in the 89th minute.
