Flavio Bearzot charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Flavio Bearzot the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 30th minute, Flavio Bearzot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ciccio Cino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ettore Iovine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ennio Lalli, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. One of Durazzanino:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Peppe Ferri Fc:s goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

In the 53rd match minute, Durazzanino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniele Di Luca to maneuver through the defense. Ferdinando Palmucci shot from long distance in the 54th minute, but Ettore Iovine was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Domenico Pettinelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Federico Antenucci having to interfere. Federico Antenucci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ennio Lalli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ermanno Tofani in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ettore Iovine saved Durazzanino from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domenico Pettinelli in the 70th minute of play forced Peppe Ferri Fc's goalkeeper Federico Antenucci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Peppe Ferri Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Zollino came free, but Federico Antenucci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner ended in Christian Penna almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Peppe Ferri Fc's Federico Antenucci did a great save. Federico Antenucci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Zollino, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. When Ermanno Tofani fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Peppe Ferri Fc's protests and gave Ermanno Tofani a yellow card for diving instead. Ermanno Tofani kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Christian Penna shot a long shot in the 98th minute and a light blocked Federico Antenucci hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 3-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Peppe Ferri Fc players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Durazzanino.
