The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Enzo Filippini showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Pino Soprano's Davide Varglien in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Pino Soprano's supporters rose to their feet, but Damiano Caruso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emilio Del Monaco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Damiano Caruso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Davide Varglien made the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes Praglia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bianco Briganti who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Bianco Briganti almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Praglia's Emilio Del Monaco did a great save. Damiano Caruso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilio Del Monaco having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Davide Varglien in the 73rd minute of play forced Praglia's goalkeeper Emilio Del Monaco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74thth minute of the game Davide Varglien who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Praglia's Emilio Del Monaco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 81 minutes, Davide Varglien managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pino Soprano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Davide Varglien was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Davide Varglien in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emilio Del Monaco saved Praglia from getting behind. Anthony Felli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Enzo Filippini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Praglia's Ettore Coviello shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 93rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Enzo Filippini but with some difficulty. Pino Soprano's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
