Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Carter Guerrini started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Alfonso Alfieri notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of San Leo's Alessandro Panza. Alessandro Panza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alessandro Panza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfonso Alfieri, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. If Carter Guerrini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carter Guerrini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arrigo Orioli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franco Lattanzio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ciro Di Paolo during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 19 played minutes San Leo got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Di Paolo. San Leo's Alessandro Panza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugenio Colecchia in the 21st minute of play. Eugenio Colecchia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eugenio Colecchia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alessandro Panza having to interfere. After 38 minutes, Ciccio Brunetta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Villa Cheloni and the San Leo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ciccio Brunetta hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. 39 minutes in the game, Dennis Nasuti dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Dennis Nasuti in the 41stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Arrigo Orioli, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a defensive mix-up in Villa Cheloni's zone, Dennis Nasuti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arrigo Orioli came out of the goal and Dennis Nasuti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Villa Cheloni's Arrigo Orioli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Villa Cheloni from getting a goal against them. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Dennis Nasuti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arrigo Orioli having to interfere. Alfonso Alfieri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Villa Cheloni's Alfonso Alfieri in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a rather tough play, Villa Cheloni's Federico Villa got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 64th minute Alfonso Alfieri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alessandro Panza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 65 minutes, Demetrio Zinni mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the San Leo and the Villa Cheloni players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to San Leo getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Demetrio Zinni hit a great ball. 69 minutes into the match, San Leo's Dennis Nasuti sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arrigo Orioli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Federico Villa hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. The audience held their breath when Franco Lattanzio in the 74th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Arrigo Orioli's left hand side. Dennis Nasuti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Arrigo Orioli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Villa Cheloni's Arrigo Orioli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dennis Nasuti in the 82nd minute of play. San Leo's Dennis Nasuti got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eugenio Colecchia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Alessandro Panza made a huge save. Villa Cheloni's Eugenio Colecchia got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dennis Nasuti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arrigo Orioli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carter Guerrini in the 94th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see San Leo lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
