Florian De Simone didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borzoli FC. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ferruccio De Lorenzi in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Florian De Simone prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Alberto Addario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Florian De Simone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferruccio De Lorenzi in the 12th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amos Gentile during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 14 minutes into the game, one of Borzoli FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Amerigo Di Lorenzo, was totally fooled by Fabio AFC's Fedele Mariano, who 16 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Ferruccio De Lorenzi took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Florian De Simone. Florian De Simone dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Alberto Addario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Florian De Simone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ferruccio De Lorenzi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Florian De Simone came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Borzoli FC's Alberto Addario. But to his dismay, Alberto Addario quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. When Alberto Addario, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 31 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Florian De Simone was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. When Ferruccio De Lorenzi came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Borzoli FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferruccio De Lorenzi couldn't finish the play. Florian De Simone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Addario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 47 minutes into the match, Borzoli FC's Ferruccio De Lorenzi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Florian De Simone narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ferruccio De Lorenzi to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Borzoli FC were awarded a corner. Angelo Di Fabio went to the cornerflag to take it. Borzoli FC's Bianco Puddu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Florian De Simone in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ferruccio De Lorenzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Florian De Simone didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eraldo Alfieri went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. In the 64th minute Elia Di Pasquale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florian De Simone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alberto Addario in the 65thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Florian De Simone, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Florian De Simone made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Addario in the 67th minute. Florian De Simone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elia Di Pasquale in the 70th minute of play. Alberto Addario's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Florian De Simone read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Alberto Addario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florian De Simone having to interfere. Bernardo Di Massa kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Florian De Simone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fortunato Pietrantoni in the 79th minute of the match. Florian De Simone made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eraldo Alfieri in the 84th minute. Ferruccio De Lorenzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferruccio De Lorenzi in the 88th minute of play forced Fabio AFC's goalkeeper Florian De Simone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ferruccio De Lorenzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute, Alberto Addario made a precise shot to the right of Florian De Simone. Fabio AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. The Fabio AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Borzoli FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
