An unexpectedly hard shot by Carmine Domenghini in the 4th minute of play forced Gabbro AFC's goalkeeper Cosimo Sisti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute, Aldo Martelli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Vasco de Yebo's Aldo Martelli in 11 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Cosimo Sisti guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Cristiano De Bonis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dave Romagnoli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Vasco de Yebo booed when Gabbro AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francesco Barbato didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carmine Domenghini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosimo Sisti having to interfere. Cosimo Sisti made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aldo Martelli in the 29th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carmine Domenghini in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cosimo Sisti prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as Aldo Martelli kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cosimo Sisti. That made the score 1-0 in the 31 minute of play. Vasco de Yebo's Cristiano De Bonis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabiano Poletti in the 34th minute of play. Aldo Martelli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Cosimo Sisti made a huge save. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gabbro AFC's goalkeeper Cosimo Sisti, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dave Romagnoli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano De Bonis having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Vasco de Yebo's zone, Fabiano Poletti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristiano De Bonis came out of the goal and Fabiano Poletti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gabbro AFC's Cosimo Sisti proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Gabbro AFC from getting a goal against them. Cosimo Sisti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carmine Domenghini, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After 48 minutes of play, Gabbro AFC's Dave Romagnoli made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristiano De Bonis was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carmine Domenghini made a kick off. Carmine Domenghini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosimo Sisti having to interfere. Gabbro AFC's Cosimo Sisti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmine Domenghini in the 61st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carmine Domenghini in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cosimo Sisti saved Gabbro AFC from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Fabiano Poletti took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Cristiano De Bonis to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dave Romagnoli in the 73rd minute of play forced Vasco de Yebo's goalkeeper Cristiano De Bonis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Gabbro AFC defense, Carmine Domenghini kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cosimo Sisti. The Gabbro AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cosimo Sisti should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Gabbro AFC booed when Vasco de Yebo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavio Stellato didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gabbro AFC's Cosimo Sisti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmine Domenghini in the 82nd minute of play. In the 84th minute, Aldo Martelli left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vasco de Yebo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. In the 93rd match minute, Gabbro AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Antico to maneuver through the defense. Alex Staniscia took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cosimo Sisti. Gabbro AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Carmine Domenghini struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Cosimo Sisti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vasco de Yebo. In the 99th minute Aldo Martelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cosimo Sisti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vasco de Yebo's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
