Amedeo Tagliente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Cosimo Sisti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Concetto Ritacco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emiliano Bozzelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dave Romagnoli in the 8th minute of the match. Amedeo Taglientes short, quick shot in the 11thth minute got Cosimo Sisti to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Concetto Ritacco in the 14th minute of play forced Gabbro AFC's goalkeeper Cosimo Sisti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amedeo Tagliente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 22 minutes into the match, Fecchio's goal looked a bit too open when Fabiano Poletti came free, but Emiliano Bozzelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute, Bianco Ronca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dave Romagnoli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 45th minute, Amedeo Tagliente got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
When Corrado Colaussi fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gabbro AFC's protests and gave Corrado Colaussi a yellow card for diving instead. Corrado Colaussi hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Concetto Ritacco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosimo Sisti having to interfere. Amedeo Tagliente blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cosimo Sisti having to make a save. In the 59th match minute, Fecchio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amedeo Tagliente to maneuver through the defense. Amedeo Tagliente stood ready after the free kick and tried to head the ball into the goal, but got pushed from behind by one of Gabbro AFC's defenders and the ball went out. Fecchio appealed in vain for a penalty, the referee looked over at the linesman, but the flag stayed down. No Penalty. In the 63rd minute, Dave Romagnoli fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Fabiano Poletti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Bozzelli having to interfere. With a little luck, Fecchio's Emiliano Bozzelli got control of the ball when Fabiano Poletti tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dave Romagnoli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Bozzelli having to interfere. A collision led to Fecchio getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Fulvio Sorrentino hit a great ball. With a little luck, Fecchio's Emiliano Bozzelli got control of the ball when Fabiano Poletti tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fabiano Poletti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Bozzelli having to interfere. There was no doubt that Fecchio were the better team. Fecchio's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
