Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Alvaro Ferraro got the match started through his kick off. With a little luck, Casal Palocco's Alvaro Ali got control of the ball when Enzo Cristofari tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Casal Palocco's goalkeeper Alvaro Ali, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Anthony Persia hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. If Enzo Cristofari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 15 played minutes Corrado Di Iulio rounded Casal Palocco's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Corrado Di Iulio was extremely unlucky when he, in the 18th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. A collision led to Casal Palocco getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Anselmo Terrasi hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Bacciolino's Alvaro Ali threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Corrado Di Iulio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Enzo Cristofari came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Bacciolino fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enzo Cristofari couldn't finish the play. Alvaro Ali made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enzo Cristofari in the 39th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Casal Palocco's Alvaro Ferraro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Frank Betti narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 43 minutes into the match, Alvaro Ferraro notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Bacciolino's Frank Betti. Frank Betti was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Corrado Di Iulio in the 47th minute of play forced Casal Palocco's goalkeeper Alvaro Ali to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Corrado Di Iulio to strike the kick off in the second half. Alvaro Ali made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Corrado Di Iulio in the 52nd minute of play. If Enzo Cristofari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alvaro Ali showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Corrado Di Iulio in the 55th minute of the match. Enzo Cristofari received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Alvaro Ali tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Casal Palocco's Franco Piscopo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Frank Betti narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Corrado Di Iulio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bacciolino's supporters rose to their feet, but Corrado Di Iulio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alvaro Ali breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alvaro Ali showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Corrado Di Iulio in the 64th minute of the match. Cristoforo Spione hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute, Bruno Apicella hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Franco Piscopo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Casal Palocco's Alvaro Ali played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enzo Cristofari in the 72nd minute of play. When Enzo Cristofari fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bacciolino's protests and gave Enzo Cristofari a yellow card for diving instead. After 77 played minutes Bacciolino got a freekick which was hit by Enzo Cristofari. Frank Betti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Ferraro, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Frank Betti didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Franco Piscopo went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Casal Palocco walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
