Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Francesco Saraceni kicked off to start the match. Concetto Cagnetta took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ernesto Di Michele. Ernesto Di Michele dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Demetrio Della Francesca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ermanno Tullio in the 7th minute of the match. If Francesco Saraceni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francesco Saraceni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ermanno Tullio took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Demetrio Della Francesca. Demetrio Della Francesca dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Concetto Cagnetta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Francesco Saraceni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Ernesto Di Michele tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Carmine Palone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ermanno Tullio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ermanno Tullio was the one to do the kick off. Demetrio Della Francesca acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 60th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Amerigo Castelli. After 64 played minutes Canolo got a freekick which was hit by Carmine Palone. If Concetto Cagnetta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amedeo Caracciolo hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Demetrio Della Francesca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ermanno Tullio, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Concetto Cagnetta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Di Michele having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Ermanno Tullio fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Concetto Cagnetta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Dave Di Mattia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Meianiga's supporters rose to their feet, but Dave Di Mattia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernesto Di Michele breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Concetto Cagnetta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ermanno Tullio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Concetto Cagnetta scored 2-2 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ernesto Di Michele, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
