The wind increased when Ernesto Valeriani made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Arrigo Vitullo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 56 minutes of play, Basaldella FC's Emiliano Maldini made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edmondo Marchegiani was left in no man's land by his defense there! Emiliano Maldini's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edmondo Marchegiani read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. After some careless play in the Borghi FC defense, Emiliano Maldini kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edmondo Marchegiani. The Borghi FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edmondo Marchegiani should have stopped the shot. Fulvio Santangelo struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Edmondo Marchegiani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Basaldella FC. In the 79th match minute, Borghi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aldo Maccioni to maneuver through the defense. Emilio Senatore, 80 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Fulvio Santangelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmondo Marchegiani having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Basaldella FC's Emiliano Maldini sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edmondo Marchegiani narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 90th minute, Fulvio Santangelo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Emiliano Maldini came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Basaldella FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emiliano Maldini couldn't finish the play.
