Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Oriago's Enrico Pennetta started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Enrico Pennetta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 7th minute, Alex Cannone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Oriago getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Carmine Montini hit a great ball. Carmine Montini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Ferruccio Barberio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ferruccio Barberio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Arturo Andreola showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 34 minute of play. The supporters of Oriago booed when Casaleggio Novara FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavio Corleone didn't get a good kick on the ball. Comunardo Bellomo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristoforo Gallucci read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Carter Petrini, 43 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Comunardo Bellomo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Oriago's Cristoforo Gallucci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Comunardo Bellomo in the 46th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Comunardo Bellomo made a kick off. In the 56th minute, Carter Petrini ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristoforo Gallucci was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Arturo Andreola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ferruccio Barberio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Serafini in the 67th minute of play. Ferruccio Barberio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arturo Andreola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ferruccio Barberio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arturo Andreola, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After 73 minutes of play, Oriago's Enrico Pennetta made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ferruccio Barberio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Carter Petrini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 79 minutes into the match, Casaleggio Novara FC's goal looked a bit too open when Enrico Pennetta came free, but Ferruccio Barberio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arturo Andreola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferruccio Barberio having to interfere. In the 92nd minute of the match Carlo Piattelli sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cristoforo Gallucci skillfully saved the ball. Cristoforo Gallucci made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carter Petrini in the 93rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Andreola in the 95th minute of play forced Casaleggio Novara FC's goalkeeper Ferruccio Barberio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the Oriago players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
