Antonio Facchetti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armin Ferraresi in the 7th minute of the match. Edoardo De Palma might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kang Jun Jie. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edoardo De Palma ran back to his position shaking his head. Antonio Facchetti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armin Ferraresi in the 24th minute of play. Cristiano Belfiore's late challenge caught a Campocroce's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristiano Belfiore helped the player get up and apologised. Cristiano Belfiore hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute of the match Daniele Passerini shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Antonio Facchetti showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Hermes F.C.'s Antonio Facchetti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armin Ferraresi in the 31st minute of play. After 31 minutes, Alberigo Pedrelli mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hermes F.C. and the Campocroce players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alberigo Pedrelli hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Kang Jun Jie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabiano Perna in the 36th minute of the match. If Fabiano Perna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabiano Perna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kang Jun Jie read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Corrado Staniscia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Facchetti having to interfere. Antonio Facchetti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armin Ferraresi in the 46th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Armin Ferraresi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Campocroce getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Edmondo Guadagnoli hit a great ball. Antonio Facchetti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armin Ferraresi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 73 minutes into the match, Hermes F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Corrado Staniscia came free, but Antonio Facchetti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eugenio Palmisano charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eugenio Palmisano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eugenio Palmisano hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Kang Jun Jie was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Alberigo Pedrelli. 94 minutes into the game, Campocroce's Corrado Staniscia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Antonio Facchetti made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Hermes F.C. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Campocroce.
