In the 19thth minute of the game Daniele De Simone who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Campiglia FC's Alessandro Perna was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Piet Brockmüller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the game, Campodonica AFC's Daniele De Simone nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alessandro Perna made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. The audience was convinced that Daniele De Simone's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alessandro Perna was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Campodonica AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Piet Brockmüller was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alessandro Perna made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Biagio Pallini sent off a good shot on target. Piet Brockmüller struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Alessandro Perna didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Campodonica AFC. Armin Cruciani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Zappacosta in the 66th minute of play. Elia De Filippo charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elia De Filippo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Armin Cruciani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso Russi in the 73rd minute of the match. Piet Brockmüller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Alessandro Perna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicolás Esperta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alessandro Perna having to interfere.
