The supporters of Murano FC booed when Tavernelle Emilia Pesa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enzo Carlini didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 4th match minute, Murano FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristiano Marcon to maneuver through the defense. Fedele Cardella showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Federico Manzoli in the 5th minute of the match. Alfonso Ruscitti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Florian Malatesta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniele De Nardis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniele De Nardis got free with Florian Malatesta in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Tavernelle Emilia Pesa's Antonio Rucci got a free kick in the 13th minute. When Ennio Santoro fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tavernelle Emilia Pesa's protests and gave Ennio Santoro a yellow card for diving instead. In the 15th minute, Ennio Santoro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Amedeo Baciadonne, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 20 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Fedele Cardella was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Murano FC's Alfonso Ruscitti got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 31st match minute, Tavernelle Emilia Pesa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ennio Santoro to maneuver through the defense. After 32 played minutes, Murano FC's Cristiano Marcon shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Florian Malatesta came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Murano FC reached it. If Daniele De Nardis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fedele Cardella showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amedeo Baciadonne, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Federico Manzoli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fedele Cardella having to interfere. Tavernelle Emilia Pesa's Florian Malatesta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Comunardo Petrosino in the 44th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alfonso Ruscitti was the one to do the kick off. Murano FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cristiano Marcon in the 54th minute. Emanuele Cruciani tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Florian Malatesta. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-0 in the 54th minute. In the 56th match minute, Murano FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniele De Nardis to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Murano FC's zone, Federico Manzoli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fedele Cardella came out of the goal and Federico Manzoli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amedeo Baciadonne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Fedele Cardella tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eugenio Franzioni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Tavernelle Emilia Pesa's Fedele Cardella threw himself towards the right post 75 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Federico Manzoli, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 84 played minutes Tavernelle Emilia Pesa got a freekick which was hit by Enzo Carlini. After a defensive mix-up in Tavernelle Emilia Pesa's zone, Alfonso Ruscitti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florian Malatesta came out of the goal and Alfonso Ruscitti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Florian Malatesta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso Ruscitti in the 87th minute of the match. After 90 played minutes Tavernelle Emilia Pesa got a freekick which was hit by Enzo Carlini. Fedele Cardella made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Amedeo Baciadonne sent off a good shot on target. Murano FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
