Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Ciccio Antognoni started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Achille De Lorenzi hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Jolly Team's zone, Achille De Lorenzi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Biagio Losito came out of the goal and Achille De Lorenzi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 14 minutes, Ciccio Antognoni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Faenza's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciccio Antognoni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Faenza's Achille De Lorenzi got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Achille De Lorenzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ciccio Antognoni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 20th minute, Edoardo Sammartano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 22nd match minute, Faenza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciccio Antognoni to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eraldo Canuto during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Jolly Team's Eraldo Canuto got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 27th minute Ciccio Antognoni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Biagio Losito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Jolly Team booed when Faenza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristiano Castellini didn't get a good kick on the ball. Achille De Lorenzi scored 0-1 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Biagio Losito, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Biagio Losito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciccio Antognoni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Jolly Team players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Faenza were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Franco Gizzi made a kick off. Biagio Losito made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Achille De Lorenzi sent off a good shot on target. Biagio Losito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciccio Antognoni in the 56th minute of play. Christian Giorda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Faenza's Ciccio Antognoni got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Biagio Losito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciccio Antognoni, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Alessandro Lucantoni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franco Gizzi in the 75th minute of play. Biagio Losito was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ciccio Antognoni showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 80 minute of play. Cristiano Castellini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Biagio Losito having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eraldo Canuto in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alessandro Lucantoni prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Biagio Losito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciccio Antognoni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Faenza booed when Jolly Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edoardo La Marca didn't get a good kick on the ball.
