After 34 played minutes Villa Buonrespiro FC got a freekick which was hit by Frank Alessandrini. Carmine Taglieri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, AFC Meridiana's Carter Di Liddo got control of the ball when Fausto Buccella tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carmine Taglieri stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Carter Di Liddo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carmine Taglieri in the 52nd minute of play. AFC Meridiana's Carter Di Liddo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmine Taglieri in the 80th minute of play. Corrado Carta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Dino Cipolla made a huge save. With a little luck, Villa Buonrespiro FC's Dino Cipolla got control of the ball when Corrado Carta tried to sneak it across the goal line. Corrado Carta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Corrado Carta in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dino Cipolla saved Villa Buonrespiro FC from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Villa Buonrespiro FC had won after a very even match.
