The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Carter De Bartolo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Domenico Tacconelli went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 13 played minutes Zula got a freekick which was hit by Francesco Mucci. Andrea Di Mascio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carter De Bartolo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrea Di Mascio in the 19th minute of the match. Carter De Bartolo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domenico Tacconelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Carter De Bartolo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domenico Tacconelli in the 26th minute of play. Carter De Bartolo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Domenico Tacconelli's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Andrea Di Mascio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carter De Bartolo having to interfere. In the 32ndth minute of the game Domenico Tacconelli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bagni's Carter De Bartolo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Carter De Bartolo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrea Di Mascio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th match minute, Bagni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugenio Rossi to maneuver through the defense. Carter De Bartolo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Domenico Tacconelli's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. With a little luck, Zula's Amos Caretti got control of the ball when Edmondo Capasso tried to sneak it across the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arrigo Carta to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Zula's Andrea Di Mascio got a free kick in the 51st minute. Andrea Di Mascio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Carter De Bartolo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carter De Bartolo made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Andrea Di Mascio sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domenico Tacconelli in the 57th minute of play forced Bagni's goalkeeper Carter De Bartolo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Domenico Tacconelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Bagni's Carter De Bartolo got control of the ball when Andrea Di Mascio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zula's Amos Caretti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmondo Capasso in the 75th minute of play. In the 77th minute of the match Dario Sivieri sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carter De Bartolo skillfully saved the ball. Carter De Bartolo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domenico Tacconelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Domenico Tacconelli in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carter De Bartolo saved Bagni from getting behind. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bagni's goalkeeper Carter De Bartolo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Andrea Di Mascio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Andrea Di Mascio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Domenico Tacconelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Carter De Bartolo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
