Dario Eboli charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dario Eboli the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Pezze F.C. booed when Straorini AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dario Eboli didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute, Ferdinando Di Pasquale left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pezze F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Dario Eboli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Dario Eboli came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Straorini AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dario Eboli couldn't finish the play. Angelo Gagliano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dario Eboli in the 24th minute. Ferdinando Di Pasquale recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 27 minutes, Beppe Ciarrocchi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Straorini AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Beppe Ciarrocchi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Pezze F.C.'s Anfilogino Giampietro got a free kick in the 28th minute. Dario Ebolis short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Angelo Gagliano to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 35th minute, Beppe Ciarrocchi fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Angelo Gagliano, passed just outside the right post. Beppe Ciarrocchi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Beppe Ciarrocchi struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Angelo Gagliano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Straorini AFC. If Beppe Ciarrocchi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ferdinando Di Pasquale to strike the kick off in the second half. Ferdinando Di Pasquale's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Comunardo Bottone read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. But to his dismay, Carmine Rosetta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 73 minutes into the match, Dario Eboli notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Pezze F.C.'s Angelo Gagliano. Angelo Gagliano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Angelo Gagliano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dario Eboli in the 76th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Dario Eboli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 94 minutes, Biagio Soccio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pezze F.C. and the Straorini AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Straorini AFC booed when Pezze F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Biagio Soccio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antonio Curti kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. The Straorini AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Pezze F.C.'s performance. The match ended with a win for Pezze F.C..
