Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Diego Migliorati kicked off to start the match. Volvera AFC's Fausto Di Fiore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francesco Iachini in the 3rd minute of play. Fabiano Biancone recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Diego Migliorati had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfonso Mirto came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Volvera AFC's Diego Migliorati. But to his dismay, Diego Migliorati quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ferdinando Di Nino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Fausto Di Fiore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Amedeo Scoca came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the F.c Cagliari fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amedeo Scoca couldn't finish the play. If Amedeo Scoca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 30th minute F.c Cagliari were awarded a corner. Enrico Losito went to the cornerflag to take it. Fabiano Biancone hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. If Amedeo Scoca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute, Diego Migliorati got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ferdinando Di Nino to make the kick off. Diego Migliorati was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 58th minute. Volvera AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 60 minutes of play, Volvera AFC's Christian Rosini made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alfonso Mirto was left in no man's land by his defense there! F.c Cagliari's Alfonso Mirto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Migliorati in the 63rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Diego Migliorati in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfonso Mirto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ferdinando Di Nino struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Fausto Di Fiore didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.c Cagliari. F.c Cagliari's Alfonso Mirto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save F.c Cagliari from getting a goal against them. Diego Migliorati fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso Mirto having to interfere. Christian Rosini could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Alfonso Mirto made a huge save. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Volvera AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
