Andrea Di Massa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anthony Bassani in the 41st minute of the match. Anthony Bassani's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andrea Di Massa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Anthony Bassani struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Andrea Di Massa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boratella FC. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmondo Paganelli made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amerigo Di Cola during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Boratella FC's zone, Eugenio Villa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amedeo Pizziolo came out of the goal and Eugenio Villa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anthony Bassani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 62 minutes into the game, Emanuele Motta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Boratella FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Civesio FC the free kick. Emanuele Motta kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Emanuele Antognoni took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 63rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Amedeo Pizziolo. Boratella FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Edmondo Paganelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. In the 84th minute, Edmondo Paganelli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Civesio FC's Emanuele Antognoni got a free kick in the 85th minute. When Biagio Marra came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Civesio FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Biagio Marra couldn't finish the play. In the 90th minute, Civesio FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Edmondo Paganelli fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Anthony Bassani might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andrea Di Massa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anthony Bassani ran back to his position shaking his head. Boratella FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Civesio FC to leave the ground with a draw.
