Emanuele Motta's late challenge caught a Castagnaretta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emanuele Motta helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Boratella FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Emanuele Motta hit a great ball. After 21 minutes, Bruno Ferreri made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Boratella FC's Amedeo Pizziolo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Alexander Contestabile kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. A collision led to Boratella FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Amerigo Di Cola hit a great ball. The attack was good, but when Bruno Ferreri in the 32nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The supporters of Boratella FC booed when Castagnaretta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alessandro Olmi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Boratella FC's goalkeeper Amedeo Pizziolo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Amerigo Di Cola struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Fulvio Iori didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boratella FC. Alessandro Olmi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alexander Contestabile kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bruno Ferreri was the one to do the kick off. If Bruno Ferreri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 53 minutes, Emilio Maccioni mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boratella FC and the Castagnaretta players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Ferreri in the 54th minute of play forced Boratella FC's goalkeeper Amedeo Pizziolo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bruno Ferreri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Amedeo Pizziolo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Castagnaretta's Bruno Ferreri slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Amedeo Pizziolo. That made the score 0-2 after 62 minutes of play. Fulvio Iori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anthony Bassani, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Amedeo Pizziolo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alessandro Olmi in the 69th minute. Amedeo Pizziolo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Ferreri in the 79th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Ferreri in the 81st minute of play forced Boratella FC's goalkeeper Amedeo Pizziolo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes into the game, Bruno Ferreri recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Amedeo Pizziolo. Bruno Ferreri showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Amedeo Pizziolo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Ferreri in the 93rd minute of the match. The Castagnaretta players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
