Camillo Di Fabio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrea Nicolo in the 11th minute of play. Monteleone FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 13th minute, when Andrea Nicolo scored to the left of an out of position Camillo Di Fabio, making the score, 1-0. Angelo Felicetti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Camillo Di Fabio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cosimo Scarpone's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Federico Granato read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Angelo Felicetti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alessandro Belfiore hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Cosimo Scarpone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Federico Granato tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antonio Angelini hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Alex Gismondi got his second yellow card in the match during the 38th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Monteleone FC's Alex Gismondi got a free kick in the 39th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Ermanno Cattaneo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monteleone FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ermanno Cattaneo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Federico Granato breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andrea Nicolo was the one to do the kick off. Magrano FC's Federico Granato proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Magrano FC from getting a goal against them. In the 56th minute, Ermanno Cattaneo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Federico Granato was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Federico Granato made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Ermanno Cattaneo sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Monteleone FC defense, Andrea Nicolo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Camillo Di Fabio. The Monteleone FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Camillo Di Fabio should have stopped the shot. A hard shot 67 in the game by Ermanno Cattaneo from a close distance when the talented Federico Granato managed to make a qualified save. Magrano FC's players were relieved. When Cesare Pantano fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Monteleone FC's protests and gave Cesare Pantano a yellow card for diving instead. In the 69th minute, Cesare Pantano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Angelo Felicetti scored 3-2 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Camillo Di Fabio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cesare Pantano struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Federico Granato didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monteleone FC. The referee gave Cesare Pantano a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Cesare Pantano hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Antonio Angelini kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Davide Manfredi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 82nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Camillo Di Fabio. Monteleone FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Magrano FC's goalkeeper Federico Granato, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Ermanno Cattaneo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute, Antonio Angelini left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Monteleone FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3.
