Federico Granato was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. CAPUT MUNDI's defense didn't have a chance, in the 11th minute, when Angelo Felicetti scored to the left of an out of position Emiliano Della Francesca, making the score, 1-1. Federico Granato showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fortunato Guerriero in the 19th minute of the match. After 21 minutes Magrano FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aldo Mandara who took care of the corner kick. Frank Donati made a great header on CAPUT MUNDI's corner, it was just that Magrano FC's Federico Granato managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmondo Biscotti in the 24th minute of play forced CAPUT MUNDI's goalkeeper Emiliano Della Francesca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to CAPUT MUNDI getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Fortunato Guerriero hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrea Nicolo in the 28th minute of play forced CAPUT MUNDI's goalkeeper Emiliano Della Francesca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alessandro Belfiore could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Emiliano Della Francesca made a huge save. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind CAPUT MUNDI's goalkeeper Emiliano Della Francesca, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Ermanno Marzulli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 40 minutes into the match, Magrano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alessandro Gentile came free, but Federico Granato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alessandro Gentile fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Federico Granato having to interfere. If Damiano Muzzatti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emiliano Della Francesca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrea Nicolo, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anthony Melfi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With his leg Federico Granato managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when CAPUT MUNDI's Damiano Muzzatti fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Federico Granato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fortunato Guerriero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 57 minutes into the match, CAPUT MUNDI's goal looked a bit too open when Andrea Nicolo came free, but Emiliano Della Francesca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 59 minutes had been played when some careless play by CAPUT MUNDI's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Davide Manfredi was slow to take the kick. During this time Magrano FC's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Ferruccio Sessa managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. CAPUT MUNDI's Emiliano Della Francesca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Felicetti in the 65th minute of play. Emiliano Della Francesca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ermanno Marzulli in the 68th minute of play. After 70th play minutes Alessandro Gentile shot 2-2, a short shot which went by Federico Granato and just under the crossbar into goal. Federico Granato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anthony Melfi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Magrano FC's Federico Granato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fortunato Guerriero in the 79th minute of play. Aldo Mandara placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Emiliano Della Francesca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Felicetti in the 94th minute of the match. In the 95th minute, Alessandro Gentile left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CAPUT MUNDI fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. CAPUT MUNDI played a much better game than Magrano FC and deserved their victory. The Magrano FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
