Carlo Capasso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Rizzi's Demetrio Quattrocchi got a free kick in the 20th minute. If Carlo Falasca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. San Giorgio FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cesare Rotili was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dino Giorgi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With an all-out effort, San Giorgio FC's Dino Giorgi threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Carlo Capasso, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Cesare Rotili sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dino Giorgi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Giorgio FC. Dino Giorgi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlo Capasso, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlo Falasca in the 95th minute of play forced San Giorgio FC's goalkeeper Damiano Graziani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
