In the 28th minute, Atletico Mustang FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Fausto Lauro fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Carter De Michele made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Alessandro Olivieri sent off a good shot on target. In the 36th match minute, Atletico Mustang FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Attilio Pollastrini to maneuver through the defense. Enrico Stella charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Enrico Stella the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 43 played minutes Ardea got a freekick which was hit by Enrico Stella. Fausto Lauro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Carter De Michele tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fausto Lauro made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Lauro in the 53rd minute of play forced Atletico Mustang FC's goalkeeper Carter De Michele to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Atletico Mustang FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alessandro Olivieri came free, but Carter De Michele reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Flavio Marinelli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atletico Mustang FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Flavio Marinelli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabio Damiani breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Atletico Mustang FC's Attilio Pollastrini got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Ennio Amatori's late challenge caught a Ardea's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. One of Atletico Mustang FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ardea:s goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Attilio Pollastrini during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 87 played minutes, Ardea's Ennio Bartolomucci shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Carter De Michele came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ardea reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Lauro in the 92nd minute of play forced Atletico Mustang FC's goalkeeper Carter De Michele to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carter De Michele stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fausto Lauro's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute.
