Cosimo Di Claudio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Comunardo Di Monte in the 4th minute. In the 6th minute, Ennio Canzano made a precise shot to the right of Amerigo Mastronardi. iCancari's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 9th minute, Demetrio Zoff hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th minute of the match Demetrio Zoff sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cosimo Di Claudio skillfully saved the ball. Florian Santagata received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Cosimo Di Claudio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ennio Canzano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Novare's zone, Comunardo Di Monte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cosimo Di Claudio came out of the goal and Comunardo Di Monte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cosimo Di Claudio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florian Santagata in the 27th minute of play. iCancari's Amerigo Mastronardi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuele Selvaggi in the 29th minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Emanuele Selvaggi notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of iCancari's Amerigo Mastronardi. Amerigo Mastronardi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 38 played minutes iCancari got a freekick which was hit by Eugenio Tarquini. In the 45th minute Emanuele Selvaggi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amerigo Mastronardi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Florian Santagata made a kick off. After 54 minutes, Ennio Canzano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Novare and the iCancari players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Novare getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Ennio Canzano hit a great ball. In the 55thth minute of the game Florian Santagata who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Novare's Cosimo Di Claudio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Flavio Bozzelli fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Novare's protests and gave Flavio Bozzelli a yellow card for diving instead. In the 56th minute, Flavio Bozzelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Comunardo Di Monte's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cosimo Di Claudio was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. iCancari's Amerigo Mastronardi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuele Selvaggi in the 60th minute of play. If Ennio Canzano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anselmo Pasquale hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Cosimo Di Claudio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florian Santagata in the 65th minute of the match. Florian Santagata blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cosimo Di Claudio having to make a save. Cosimo Di Claudio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Comunardo Di Monte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ennio Canzano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amerigo Mastronardi having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Florian Santagata managed to get in a good position for a shot. iCancari's supporters rose to their feet, but Florian Santagata was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cosimo Di Claudio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 77th minute Florian Santagata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cosimo Di Claudio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th match minute, Novare was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo Pasquale to maneuver through the defense. Comunardo Di Monte struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Cosimo Di Claudio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for iCancari. The iCancari supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Novare's performance. The match ended with a win for Novare.
