The referee ignored Taneto FC's protests and gave Enrico Vani a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Novare booed when Taneto FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrico Vani didn't get a good kick on the ball. Taneto FC's Ernesto Franco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuele Selvaggi in the 15th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dennis Sessa during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dennis Sessa hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. The Novare fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when Novare's Emanuele Selvaggi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 22nd minute, Emanuele Selvaggi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ernesto Franco was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Taneto FC's Ernesto Franco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ennio Canzano in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Ennio Canzano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ernesto Franco was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Ernesto Franco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ennio Canzano in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Ennio Canzano made a precise shot to the right of Ernesto Franco. Taneto FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. 38 minutes into the match, Emanuele Selvaggi notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Taneto FC's Ernesto Franco. Ernesto Franco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dennis Sessa was the one to do the kick off. Taneto FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Emanuele Selvaggi 58 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-8. After a rather tough play, Taneto FC's Corrado Gava got a free kick in the 60th minute. After having played for 61 minutes, Cristiano Franco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Novare's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristiano Franco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dennis Sessa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Cosimo Di Claudio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Ernesto Franco managed to avoid a goal in the 72ndth minute, when Novare's Ennio Canzano fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Novare's Emanuele Selvaggi got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Taneto FC's Ernesto Franco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuele Selvaggi in the 75th minute of play. If Ennio Canzano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 87th minute Emanuele Selvaggi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Franco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
