After a rather tough play, Cogorno's Anfilogino Di Nunzio got a free kick in the 8th minute. Alvaro Cavallucci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Margoni having to interfere. After 12 minutes of play, Albereto's Amerigo Trivelli made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alfredo Margoni was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cogorno's Concetto Proia got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fabrizio Lopez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Caniglia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Concetto Proia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabrizio Lopez was a little too slow when Bernardo Caniglia got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 1-1. Fabrizio Lopez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Caniglia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st match minute, Albereto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amedeo Cabrini to maneuver through the defense. Cristiano Pagliuca kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Concetto Proia struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Fabrizio Lopez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cogorno. Bernardo Caniglia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabrizio Lopez having to make a save. In the 43rd minute, Amerigo Trivelli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Albereto's Amerigo Trivelli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfredo Margoni narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Cogorno's Dario Bottone got a free kick in the 46th minute. In the 48th minute Edoardo Palombi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Margoni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Amerigo Trivelli to strike the kick off in the second half. If Amerigo Trivelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabrizio Lopez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Concetto Proia, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Bernardo Caniglia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabrizio Lopez having to interfere. Alvaro Cavallucci could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Alfredo Margoni made a huge save. In the 68th minute, Concetto Proia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Alfredo Margoni managed to avoid a goal in the 73rdth minute, when Albereto's Alvaro Cavallucci fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 77 minutes into the match, Albereto's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Caniglia came free, but Fabrizio Lopez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Concetto Proia in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabrizio Lopez saved Albereto from getting behind. Amedeo Cabrini kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. In the 82nd minute of the match Dario Bottone shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fabrizio Lopez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Amerigo Trivelli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfredo Margoni read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Alvaro Cavallucci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Margoni having to interfere. Amerigo Trivelli might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alfredo Margoni. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amerigo Trivelli ran back to his position shaking his head. Alvaro Cavallucci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Alfredo Margoni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Concetto Proia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabrizio Lopez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amedeo Chelodi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Albereto had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
