Muggiano's Alex Passerini got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fulvio Piccoli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Passerini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amedeo Riccardi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Fulvio Piccoli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Attilio Di Lello charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Attilio Di Lello the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alfredo Curti hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alex Passerini got free with Fulvio Piccoli in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Amedeo Riccardi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fulvio Piccoli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amedeo Riccardi got free with Fulvio Piccoli in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Alexander Madaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ciro Iacovacci took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlo Napoleone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fulvio Piccoli was a little too slow when Alex Passerini got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

With an all-out effort, Setteville Nord F.C.'s Ciro Iacovacci threw himself towards the right post 61 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Carlo Napoleone, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Amerigo Cosi fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Muggiano's protests and gave Amerigo Cosi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 62nd minute, Amerigo Cosi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amedeo Riccardi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fulvio Piccoli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Passerini in the 66th minute of play forced Setteville Nord F.C.'s goalkeeper Fulvio Piccoli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alex Passerini struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Fulvio Piccoli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Muggiano. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alex Passerini in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fulvio Piccoli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexander Madaio got free with Ciro Iacovacci in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Setteville Nord F.C.'s Carlo Napoleone got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Muggiano's Amedeo Riccardi got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fulvio Piccoli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Passerini in the 88th minute of play. Setteville Nord F.C.'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
