Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Bianco Arioli took the kick off in the first half of the match. AS Roma 1977's Ferruccio Mucci proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save AS Roma 1977 from getting a goal against them. In the 10th minute, Fabio Alessandrini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bianco Arioli in the 12th minute of play forced AS Roma 1977's goalkeeper Ferruccio Mucci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AS Roma 1977's Ferruccio Mucci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bianco Arioli in the 18th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Alberto Vinci made a precise shot to the right of Ferruccio Mucci. AS Roma 1977's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Eraldo Guida recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alberigo Tenaglia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eraldo Guida in the 32nd minute of play. Alberigo Tenaglia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Domenico Ramoser went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. 46 minutes into the match, Claude Bouzon notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Sorrivoli's Alberigo Tenaglia. Alberigo Tenaglia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
The wind increased when Eraldo Guida made the kick off in the second half. Ferruccio Mucci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bianco Arioli, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Ferruccio Mucci took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bianco Arioli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Claude Bouzon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberigo Tenaglia having to interfere. Eraldo Guida who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 73rdth minute tested the skills of Alberigo Tenaglia when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Claude Bouzon came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the AS Roma 1977 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claude Bouzon couldn't finish the play. In the 81st minute, Eraldo Guida got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eraldo Guida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Alberigo Tenaglia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eraldo Guida in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alberigo Tenaglia saved Sorrivoli from getting behind. Alberigo Tenaglia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eraldo Guida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aldo Tassotti scored 2-5 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ferruccio Mucci, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Vinci in the 95th minute of play forced AS Roma 1977's goalkeeper Ferruccio Mucci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Sorrivoli fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. AS Roma 1977 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
