Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Eraldo Guida kicked off to start the match. In the 9th minute Eraldo Guida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferruccio Marrone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AS Roma 1977's Ferruccio Mucci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Biagio Iacomini in the 10th minute of play. Alexander Miranda hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Ferruccio Marrone came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by AS Roma 1977's Claude Bouzon. But to his dismay, Claude Bouzon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Eraldo Guida's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 22ndth minute, Ferruccio Marrone skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ferruccio Mucci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domenico Antonelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. When Claude Bouzon came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the AS Roma 1977 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claude Bouzon couldn't finish the play. After 28 minutes, Domenico Ramoser mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AS Roma 1977 and the Catena AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Domenico Ramoser kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Catena AFC's goalkeeper Ferruccio Marrone, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 41 minutes into the game, Claude Bouzon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Ferruccio Marrone was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Claude Bouzon managed to get in a good position for a shot. AS Roma 1977's supporters rose to their feet, but Claude Bouzon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ferruccio Marrone breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Claudio Chitarroni charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Claudio Chitarroni the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Claudio Chitarroni hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Domenico Antonelli to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, AS Roma 1977's Ferruccio Mucci got control of the ball when Biagio Iacomini tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 60th minute, Claude Bouzon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 64 played minutes, Catena AFC's Fabio Moretti shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ferruccio Mucci came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Catena AFC reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Arcari in the 72nd minute of play forced Catena AFC's goalkeeper Ferruccio Marrone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Comunardo Bolli got free with Ferruccio Mucci in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ferruccio Mucci came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Catena AFC's Biagio Iacomini. But to his dismay, Biagio Iacomini quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Biagio Iacomini could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Ferruccio Mucci made a huge save. Claude Bouzon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89thth minute of the game Eraldo Guida who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Catena AFC's Ferruccio Marrone was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ferruccio Mucci made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Biagio Iacomini sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Catena AFC's Demetrio Porcu got a free kick in the 92nd minute.
