Fulvio Scivittaro started the match with the kick off. Cosimo Di Felice's late challenge caught a Materazzinter F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cosimo Di Felice helped the player get up and apologised. Cosimo Di Felice kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. The supporters of White Dolphin United U23 booed when Materazzinter F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Cera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emanuele Bozzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulvio Scivittaro in the 11th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Materazzinter F.C.'s goalkeeper Emanuele Bozzo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cosimo Di Felice. Cosimo Di Felice could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Emanuele Bozzo made a huge save. With an all-out effort, White Dolphin United U23's Emanuele Bozzo threw himself towards the right post 25 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fulvio Scivittaro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The long shot by Antonio Lozzi in the 35th minute really tested Emanuele Bozzo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cosimo Di Felice got free with Emanuele Bozzo in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Materazzinter F.C.'s Daniele Scurti quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Anthony Centofanti, made in the 39th minute of the game. 48 minutes into the match, Materazzinter F.C.'s goalkeeper Emanuele Bozzo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cosimo Di Felice. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniele Scurti to make the kick off. Fulvio Scivittaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Emanuele Bozzo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ernesto Liaci fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Materazzinter F.C.'s protests and gave Ernesto Liaci a yellow card for diving instead. Ernesto Liaci hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute of the match Antonio Lozzi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emanuele Bozzo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Materazzinter F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Fulvio Scivittaro came free, but Emanuele Bozzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cosimo Di Felice in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emanuele Bozzo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of White Dolphin United U23 booed when Materazzinter F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniele Scurti didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 69 minutes of play, White Dolphin United U23's Fulvio Scivittaro made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emanuele Bozzo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fulvio Scivittaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Emanuele Bozzo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emanuele Bozzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulvio Scivittaro in the 81st minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Fulvio Scivittaro notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Materazzinter F.C.'s Emanuele Bozzo. Emanuele Bozzo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cosimo Di Felice sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Materazzinter F.C.'s Emanuele Bozzo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosimo Di Felice in the 94th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, White Dolphin United U23 could leave the field as winners, despite Materazzinter F.C. having more of the ball for most of the match.
