Amerigo Travaglini came out of the goal and Fortunato Nasuti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Alfonso Martini came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Mandolossa AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfonso Martini couldn't finish the play. 39 minutes into the match, Alfonso Martini notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Arcadia's Amerigo Travaglini. Amerigo Travaglini was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Arcadia defense, Fortunato Nasuti kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amerigo Travaglini. The Arcadia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amerigo Travaglini should have stopped the shot. In the 48th minute Fortunato Nasuti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amerigo Travaglini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Armando Meazza made the kick off in the second half. Amos Giampieri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrea Fasciani in the 52nd minute of play. In the 54th minute, Alfonso Martini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Arcadia getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Fabrizio Romanese hit a great ball. Biagio Scivittaro kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Carter Pace sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Arcadia's Amerigo Travaglini didn't even have to move. Fortunato Nasuti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Amerigo Travaglini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Fortunato Nasuti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A well-hit corner resulted in Comunardo Lepre heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 86 minutes into the game, Andrea Fasciani cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Amos Giampieri was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Arcadia's Amerigo Travaglini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso Martini in the 90th minute of play. Fortunato Nasuti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amerigo Travaglini having to interfere. After 98 played minutes Arcadia got a freekick which was hit by Cristoforo Atroce.
