The supporters of Smurgo United booed when Cornigliano Ligure FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniele Pavia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eugenio Ubriaco made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Carmine Corna sent off a good shot on target. Eugenio Ubriaco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franco Del Monte in the 19th minute of play. Eugenio Ubriaco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camillo Silvestre, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Camillo Silvestre in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eugenio Ubriaco saved Cornigliano Ligure FC from getting behind. Carmine Cornas short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Eugenio Ubriaco to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Bernardo Rossi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cornigliano Ligure FC's Eugenio Ubriaco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camillo Silvestre in the 35th minute of play. Eugenio Ubriaco came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Smurgo United's Carmine Corna. But to his dismay, Carmine Corna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. If Carmine Corna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Claudio Saraceni to strike the kick off in the second half. Eugenio Ubriaco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camillo Silvestre in the 51st minute of the match. Camillo Silvestre blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eugenio Ubriaco having to make a save. Eugenio Ubriaco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camillo Silvestre in the 56th minute of play. Eugenio Ubriaco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carmine Corna in the 61st minute of the match. Cesare Colucci made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Bernardo Rossi sent off a good shot on target. Eugenio Ubriaco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camillo Silvestre, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After 67 minutes, Comunardo Iannucci mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cornigliano Ligure FC and the Smurgo United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eugenio Ubriaco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Camillo Silvestre's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. If Claudio Saraceni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cesare Colucci took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudio Saraceni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Smurgo United's Franco Del Monte got a free kick in the 84th minute. When Smurgo United's Carmine Corna in 86 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Eugenio Ubriaco guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Camillo Silvestre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Eugenio Ubriaco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Carmine Corna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Smurgo United were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
