Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Amerigo Fortuna started the match with the kick off. Maliseti AFC's Comunardo Cellucci managed to work through Longana FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Comunardo Cellucci dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Cristoforo Rossi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Bernardo Colonna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Longana FC's Amerigo Fortuna got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Comunardo Cellucci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernardo Colonna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amerigo Fortuna in the 25th minute of play. If Amerigo Fortuna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute Amerigo Fortuna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Colonna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alvise Paolini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Comunardo Cellucci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th match minute, Maliseti AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Demetrio Traini to maneuver through the defense. Cristoforo Rossi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Colonna having to interfere. With a little luck, Longana FC's Alvise Paolini got control of the ball when Aurelio Mastronardi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Amerigo Fortuna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Comunardo Cellucci to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Maliseti AFC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Antonio Fortunato hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amerigo Fortuna in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernardo Colonna prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 63 minutes into the match, Longana FC's Amerigo Fortuna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernardo Colonna narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cristoforo Rossi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Longana FC booed when Maliseti AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuele Toccaceli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfredo Minichiello was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 71st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 76 minutes into the match, Maliseti AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Amerigo Fortuna came free, but Bernardo Colonna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute, Fulvio Russi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 80 minutes, Antonello Longo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Longana FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antonello Longo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Longana FC booed when Maliseti AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuele Toccaceli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maliseti AFC's Bernardo Colonna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amerigo Fortuna in the 82nd minute of play. Cristoforo Rossi struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Bernardo Colonna didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Longana FC. After 86 minutes of play, Longana FC's Cristoforo Rossi made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bernardo Colonna was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cristoforo Rossi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Colonna having to interfere. Bernardo Colonna made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristoforo Rossi in the 95th minute. Longana FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
