To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Comunardo Carlini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniele Marra in the 22nd minute of play. In the 25th minute Alfredo Chitarroni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabiano Brandini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Comunardo Carlini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniele Marra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Achille Campese charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Achille Campese the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 30th minute, Daniele Marra fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Comunardo Carlini, passed just outside the right post. In the 32nd play minute Cosimo Di Sante came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Comunardo Carlini. 1-0. The Crescenzago fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 62 minutes into the match, Malo's goal looked a bit too open when Cosimo Di Sante came free, but Comunardo Carlini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Comunardo Carlini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosimo Di Sante, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Fabiano Brandini made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ettore Capuozzi in the 66th minute. In the 69th match minute, Malo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrico Corelli to maneuver through the defense. Comunardo Carlini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosimo Di Sante, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Crescenzago fully deserved thier win.
