Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) AC Milan's Amos Caneva started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Flavio Brambilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anthony Mazzone in the 3rd minute of play. In the 7th minute, Amos Caneva fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Flavio Brambilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anthony Mazzone, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Flavio Brambilla didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carter Rapone went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Anthony Mazzone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Flavio Brambilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carter Rapone in the 18th minute of play forced AC Milan's goalkeeper Flavio Brambilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anthony Mazzone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Brambilla having to interfere. If Augusto Di Paolo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ernesto Mazzocchetti lost his temper 27 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 27th minute, one of AC Milan:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for AC Milan. In the 29th minute there was a penalty for Luminasio. Eraldo Abete stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Flavio Brambilla. 0-2. In the 40th minute, Anthony Mazzone got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anthony Mazzone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Flavio Brambilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Flavio Brambilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carter Rapone in the 47th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anthony Mazzone to make the kick off. Carter Rapone recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carter Rapone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th minute Anthony Mazzone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Brambilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 61 minutes, Anthony Mazzone managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Luminasio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anthony Mazzone was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 66 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Luminasio! The referee gave AC Milan a penalty, 68 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Domenico Volta, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Luminasio's Fausto Piccioli. 1-2. Alfonso Palmucci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Augusto Di Paolo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carter Rapone could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Flavio Brambilla made a huge save. Anthony Mazzone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carter Rapone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Brambilla having to interfere. In the 96thth minute of the game Augusto Di Paolo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Luminasio's Fausto Piccioli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Luminasio had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
